To encourage more students to enroll in engineering courses at the Bulacan State University, the Metro
Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) has launched a scholarship program in engineering open to all deserving
students coming from families living in communities adjacent to the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX). Photo

University (BulSU) president Dr. Mariano de Jesus following their recent signing of a memorandum of agreement
on the education program specifically eyeing ten underprivileged high school students desiring to take up
engineering courses and allied studies. The project was born out of MPTC's commitment to foster capacity building
by developing a culture which proactively addresses the infrastructure requirements of the Philippines. Also
