MNTC cites team for 1M no-accident hours

March 03, 2010

Luigi L. Bautista, senior vice president for operations of the Manila North Tollways Corporation (MNTC), builder and concessionaire of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), congratulates the Segment 8.1 Project Team headed by assistant vice president Nemesio G. Castillo (third from left) for having achieved early this year one (1) million manhours of No Lost Time Incident (NLTI). NLTI is an industry benchmark that measures the efficiency of the company's safety program. In photo, Bautista hands the plaque of appreciation to Castillo and to the team of Leighton Contractors Asia Limited headed by Chris Holder, Leighton's country operations manager (extreme right). Also in photo are other Leighton managers: general superintendent Ken Gillespie, deputy project manager Gladwin Omaña, and civil/structure superintendent Edwin Longos. Leighton is Segment 8.1 project contractor.
