The Manila North Tollways Corporation (MNTC) reaffirms its commitment to promote education in communities adjacent to the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) with a donation of school furniture to three day care centers in Apalit, Pampanga. The Sto. Nino, Sucad and Paligui day care centers received nursery chairs and tables, open cabinets and electric fans worth P100,000 from MNTC as part of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) program called "NLEX sa Edukasyon". MNTC President Rodrigo E. Franco led the turnover of the donation to Apalit Mayor Oscar Tetangco Jr. held at the Apalit town hall. Flanking the two executives are MNTC vice president for corporate communication Marlene N. Ochoa and Apalit Vice Mayor Pedro Nucom.
