The Manila North Tollways Corporation (MNTC) signs a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Municipality of Apalit, Pampanga, allowing the town to construct an extension of the existing Candaba viaduct footbridge within the NLEX right-of-way. The footbridge serves the residents of Barangays Tabuyuc and San Juan. MNTC is the concessionaire of the 84-kilometer North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) linking Metro Manila to the provinces of Bulacan, Pampanga and other parts of North and Central Luzon.
