Manila North Tollways Corporation (MNTC), builder and concessionaire of the 84-kilometer North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and its operating subsidiary the Tollways Management Corporation (TMC) joined hands with the local government of Marilao, Bulacan in a bid to streamline traffic management within the Marilao Interchange. The entire Marilao Interchange was reclassified as a traffic management zone (TMZ) for which a detailed traffic management scheme will be implemented by the TMC. The collaboration was formalized through a memorandum of agreement (MOA) signed recently by (from left) Marilao Mayor Epifanio Guillermo, MNTC president and CEO Jose De Jesus and TMC vice-president for traffic operations Nicolas Manalo.
