How is the anti-overloading law enforced along the NLEX?
STEP 3: If the vehicle is found to be overloaded, the driver should surrender to the inspector the following documents:
- Driver’s license and vehicle plate
- A copy of the Official Receipt (OR) or Car Registration (CR) of the vehicle
STEP 4: The driver is required to observe instructions given by the inspectors at the weighbridge.
STEP 5: A Temporary Operating Permit (TOP) is then issued by the enforcer to the driver.
STEP 6: Upon settling the penalty for overloading at the LTO office, owners of the apprehended vehicle can already redeem the confiscated driver’s license and the vehicle plate.
