Aside from the direct users of the North Luzon Expressway, there is another group that the Manila North Tollways Corporation continues to serve - these are the communities that are found within the vicinity of the expressway. The excellent service that MNTC provides its customers is the same kind of service that is offered to these communities, because in order to spur economic growth in Central Luzon, MNTC firmly believes that the communities in the region, especially those at the grassroots level, must be helped to progress as well.
For the MNTC employees, "doing well" and "doing good" are not confined to the four corners of their offices, but must cascade to the communities that reap the benefits of the improved expressway. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs are imbued in the company's culture. Thus, it is not unusual to find MNTC employees spending a whole day carrying buckets of cement or painting houses just so the poor may have modest homes, or visiting small public schools to turn over several cans of paints that can turn the drab classrooms into attractive centers of learning - as bright as the future of those who attend classes in them.
